Morocco was an exciting way to begin our journey. It is definitely the most foreign of all the countries we’ll be seeing, which I think provided us a good sense of perspective for the duration of our time abroad. We’re now settling into Spain for about 10 days, so I’m looking forward to getting some rest and being able to fully appreciate the Spanish culture. We started tonight with some sangria and tapas, so, so far, so good!

We’ve only been gone for 5 days, but already we’ve taken a flight to NYC, to Casablanca, to Marrakech, an overnight train to Tangier, two 3-hour bus rides to Chefchaouen and back, a ferry and another bus into Sevilla. All of our travel has been super smooth so far, even if it has been long, so many, many thanks to all of you who have been praying for safe travels for us (especially you, Mom)!

Hope you enjoy the pics, and buenos noches!
